CAYO aftercare

As Alpaca is a naturally occurring yarn some pilling will occur over a certain period of wear. Using a wool comb, razor or fabric shaver will help you care for your Cayo piece. Softly glide the wool comb or razor over the affected area to remove the pills. Use long strokes to avoid pulling any yarn. You can also remove the pills simply by pulling them off. You will need to continue to remove pills until the pills no longer occur. We recommend that you wash your CAYO knitwear after a couple of wears. Hand wash or dry clean only, do not use Woolite or equivalent. Do not dry in direct sunlight or the colour may fade. Reshape while wet. Dry flat. Alpaca does not retain odours so needs to be washed only when a stain occurs.
